A new gathering in Madrid brought together faith communities, cultural voices and social actors to mark the World Day for Cultural Diversity. The dialogue included Clarisa Nieva of the Bahá’í Community of Spain, Fernando Hernández of the Madrid Municipal Police Diversity Management Unit, flamenco artist Tito Losada, a Roma guitarist and composer, and Denise González. Speakers shared different experiences and viewpoints on how mutual knowledge can reduce prejudice.
During the event, participants addressed themes such as religious freedom, intercultural coexistence and human dignity. Fundación Mejora framed the initiative with Scientology’s emphasis on ethical values and community improvement. Ivan Arjona, representative of the Church of Scientology to European and international institutions, emphasised that cultural and religious diversity is a value news europawahl for society when accompanied by mutual understanding and responsibility.
